Funeral services for Annie Mae Davis, 84, of West Monroe, LA will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Peniel Baptist Church. Rev. Milton Pray, Rev. Eddy Shoemaker and Jeremy Davis will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Mrs. Davis was born March 29, 1930 in Crystal Springs, MS and passed away September 3, 2014 in West Monroe surrounded by her loving family. She was a long-time member of Peniel Baptist Church. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Fannie Douglas. She loved the Lord, her family, and cooking for them and friends.Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Jessie R. Davis; daughter, Kathy Davis Spillers and husband Arvelle; son, Jerry Wayne Davis and wife Rhonda; brothers, Donald Douglas and wife Barbara, and Marshall Douglas and wife Gay; sister, Ruth Begley and husband Buddy; grandchildren, Jeremy Davis and wife Meredith, Kristen Arendsen and husband Chris, Jansen Hinton and husband Chris, Jay Spillers and wife Carmen and Kesley Oliver and husband Cobey; honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren, Justin Arendsen, Garrett Arendsen, Matthew Arendsen, Leighton Davis, Miller Davis and Maddy Davis, Emma Hinton, Julianna Spillers, Katlyne Spillers, Sammy Spillers, Mackenzie Oliver and Chance Oliver.Pallbearers will be Eddie Clowers, Tab Peters, Jeremy Davis, Jay Spillers, Cobey Oliver and Scott Douglas.Thank you to Hospice of LA and Natalie, David , Joan and Pam.Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Peniel Baptist Church.
