Funeral services for Bertha Jean Zumbro Lenard will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, July 6, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe. Rev. Paul Solice will officiate. Interment will follow at Bosco Cemetery.Mrs. Lenard was born on July 9, 1931 in Murfreesboro, TN and passed away on July 2, 2015 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church of North Monroe and was preceded in death by her parents, Charley O. and Bertha Mae Zumbro; her husband, Aaron R. Lenard.Mrs. Lenard is survived by her children, Barbara Stevens and husband David, Charlie Lenard and wife Sheron, Sandra Christy and husband Paul of Sardis, GA and Vickie Lovelady and husband Donald; brother, Jackson Zumbro of Mt. Juliet, TN and sister, Lola Cook of Murfreesboro, TN; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Michael Stevens, Jason Stevens, Scott Stevens, Bryan Christy, Zachary Lovelady, and Tyler Dennis.Visitation will be Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral home, Monroe.
