Graveside services for Mrs. Bess Deas Cole, age 80, of Homer, LA will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Simsboro City Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, LA. Rev. R. B. Moore will officiate.Bess Cole was born on October 29, 1936 and passed away following a brief illness on February 22, 2017 at Willow Ridge Nursing Home in Arcadia, LA. She was a graduate of Arcadia High School and attended LA Tech. Bess worked in the insurance industry before retiring and living on Lake Claiborne. Mrs. Cole is preceded in death by her 1st husband and lifetime friend, Malcolm Lee Lewis; her brother, Robert Deas; and her sister, Billie John Jones. Bess is survived by her children: Stephen C. Lewis of Homer, LA and Michael D.
