I knew that Yvonnie had a long and hard road ahead of her, but I never expected her homecoming to be so soon. While we all know that God's plan is the perfect plan, her leaving leaves a deep sadness within. She was one of the kindest and most caring people I have ever known. Hayes Harkey was truly blessed to have had such a person walk their halls for over 50 years.

Deepest condolences to the family and friends of a kind and warm lady who always greeted with a smile in the halls of Hayes Harkey, where I came to know her. May the Lord greet her with open arms.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. I have never known a more giving person and I am honored that she was my friend. With tears rolling down my cheeks because of the sadness I know that she has gone on to her reward She and Mr. Red are cruising down the golden streets of heaven today. Yvonne may very well be telling him to slow down. I will always cherish her friendship and never forget the tons of Mexican food we ate. Rest In Peace sweet friend. Until we meet again Patricia

Mre Sims loss is tragic. The effect of Adam's sin plagues all of us. But ransom sacrifice pays the for what Adam lost for us. What did he lose? Everlasting life on earth. Jesus can bring Mrs Sims back to life in the resurrection just as he did Lazarus. He says at John 5: 28,29 tha all those in God's memory will hear his voice and come out of the grave just as Lazarus did. That is God's promise and he cannot lie
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

The day we moved into our house, Mrs. Yvonne and Mr. Red came over, introduced themselves and loaned us a dolly that saved us that day! We loved them instantly and felt even more connected when she told us her name, Yvonne! It was the name we had chosen for our baby girl I was carrying! My Evonne is now 3 and while that was not near a long enough time to call this precious woman my friend, I am grateful to God for her friendship and what it brought to our lives. Mrs. Yvonne, to hug and kiss you and pray with you at our last visit is something we will all cherish forever. Give Mr. Red a hug for us!

Although I know her daughter Sandra and granddaughter Brittany, I know OF her and have had the pleasure of meeting her. My memories are few but make me snile....like the time she came to Brittany's graduation for her MSN degree and admired the lovely flowers and decorations. They were indeed lovely and from her flower bushes! She was so proud of Brittany and I thought it was so special that her flowers were a part of our celebration. My condolences to the family.

Yvonne was one of kind. When I joined the Hayes Harkey law firm in 1987 my principal focus was to work with Yvonne's primary boss, Lukie Smith. Lukie was temporarily out of commission for health reasons and so Yvonne and I got to know each other very quickly. She was always ready, willing and able to give me all the help that she possibly could; and that was a lot. She made my life much easier! I don't know why the EverReady bunny comes to mind when I think of Yvonne, but it does. She always kept going and always with a huge smile on her face. I, too, will miss her (especially her smile and kind words of greeting). Rest well until that day when we will be blessed to rise in glory with Christ.

I worked with Yvonne years ago at Hayes Harkey and always considered her a friend. She was a caring, sharing person and would do anything to assist. We shared a tear or two when Elvis died and even though I had moved away, we consoled each other when our boss, Mr. Louis D. Smith, passed away. Condolences to the family.

Grandma (as I called her), wasn’t really my grandmother, but a loving & kind co-worker of 27 years who I dearly loved and will miss. Even though she was 20+ years my age, she worked circles around me at the very hot warehouse in the summer purging files and never complaining (even though I did), only wanting to know “when are we going back”. My heart goes out to Sandy, Lana and the whole family for the loss of a truly one of a kind wonderful person.
