Elizabeth, Catherine, Billy, and Richard, I was so very sad to hear about Carolyn's passing but she certainly lived an amazing life and enjoyed it all I believe! There are too many memories to put down here---a whole lifetime including the births of ALL of you! I remember when Billy brought home the first TV and then the first color TV! Wonderful summer mornings sitting in the front yard waiting for the vegetable truck but there is one that is SO funny I MUST tell you---your Mama was something else and was responsible for one of my most embarrassing moments---it was one summer afternoon when Billy came home from the store and Carolyn ran out of the house yelling," Elizabeth Sachs got a bra!" Everybody laughed so hard---I just wanted to disappear but that was your Mama and I loved her! From both of us I know that she is in heaven with Mama and Daddy and she will forever be with us all! Big hugs to all of you! Wish I could be there---give Alice my love!

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Lewis will certainly be missed by many. She was a gracious lady. I enjoyed our visit with her and Richard several weeks ago. It was pleasure to work for her family, memories to last a life time. We laughed about how "EVERYONE" worked at Lewis'. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. Brenda and Butch Porter And Family

Elizabeth and Catherine--Thinking of you all and the incredible life your mother lived. Returning to Ruston, I would often run into her and she would update me on all of your goings-on! She was a remarkable woman in so many ways and always a delight to be with. Peace to each of you.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Elizabeth, Catherine, Billy, and RichardYou probably don't know me, but my mother, your mom, Jane, William Artis, etc. were very best friends growing up from elementary school to adults. My mother was Katherine Martin Boucher. She loved your mom so much. Just wanted to send my condolences to your whole family. It's a shame that we never met. My aunt, Ena Martin still lives in Ruston. My grandmother was Lillian M. Pearce who lived in Ruston for many years. My email address is suebwhitlow@hotmail.com if you ever have a chance to drop me a line.
