Under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.Charles was born on January 5, 1940 in Monroe, LA and passed away on September 23, 2016 in Spencer, LA. He served in the United States Navy and was a retired District Manager for the State of Louisiana Department of Conservation. He is preceded in death by his parents, Aubie Lee McGough and Marguerite Reagan.Survivors include his wife Susan McGough of Spencer, LA; stepson, Alan Townsend and wife Toni of Rayville, LA; Jeremy Townsend and wife Holly of Rayville, LA; granddaughters, Alex Townsend of Spencer, LA; Sarrah Townsend of Elgin TX; Daisy Thompson of Rayville, LA; grandsons, Troy Townsend of Elgin,TX; Brendan Townsend of Rayville, LA; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Hollis of West Monroe, LA; brother-in-law, Scott Hollis of West Monroe, LA; sisters-in-law, Trudie Harkness of Monroe, LA; and Becky Purdy of Dallas, TX.Visitation will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com

I am so sorry to hear about Charles. He came to the Reagan reunion the last two years here at my home and enjoyed the memories we shared with all the family. God doesnt promised us tomorrow, but its certainly hard when God calls them home. Charles will be missed by all the family. Please know you all will be in my prayers.
