A celebration of the life of Christopher Allen Burnham, 38, of Dubach, Louisiana, will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at New Prospect Baptist Church in Dubach, Louisiana with Bro. Wayne Whiteside officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Unionville Cemetery in Dubach, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, Louisiana.

Chris was born October 28, 1980 and passed away at his home in Dubach, Louisiana after a lengthy illness.

Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents Grover Burnham, Sr. and CC Delaney and great grandparents LE and Irene Coker.

Chris was a devoted father and an avid outdoorsman. He shared so closely his passion for hunting and fishing with his son. Chris’ greatest joy and happiest times were with his family. To know Chris was to love him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and his smile and willingness to help anyone in need were just two of his greatest attributes.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Brandi Burnham and son, Landon Burnham; mother, Cynthia Delaney; father, Buddy Burnham and wife, Jan; brothers, Brandt and Blake Foster; grandmothers, Essie Burnham and Willie Dean Delaney; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Tony Heard, Roy Wise, Ryan Hanson, Jess Smith, James Harold Burnham, Caleb Kelley, Jerry Silmon, and Sontus Mitchell.

Honorary Pallbearers are Keith Bagwell, Caleb Dendy, Joby Dendy, Jackie Bryan, Judson Porter, and Burnham Construction employees.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Chris’ honor to Ruston Adult & Teen Challenge at 411 E. California Ave, Ruston, LA 71270.

He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains. Psalms 107:14
