Private graveside service will be held.Edward Horne loved his family, friends and enjoyed a life full of laughter, either at his expense or others. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Nola Horne; son, Dr. Stephen Horne and wife Kathy; 2 grandsons; Christopher and wife Christine and Patrick and wife Melissa; 2 great- grandchildren, Mikayla and Michael. He is also survived by his dog, Jack.

I am SO glad that heaven is not something we Christians made up to make us feel better at times like this. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord ... so Edward is with the Lord! What a great guy! I loved our visits. I always left our meetings with more from him than he received from me! I'm missing him but not wishing for him to have to leave heaven to come back! Enjoy it all, Edward ... tell my dad HI! Miss Nola, Steve and Kathy ... it will never be the same, but you'll be OK. God loves you very much! Ken

We remember Edward as a person who was always ready to help others, and on whom you could depend. Our hearts and prayers go out to Nola, to Steve and Kathy and the rest of his family. We know he will be greatly missed by all.
