Officiating the service will be Rev. Larry Emory.Mrs. Edwards was born September 1, 1927 and passed away November 29, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elliott Ray Edwards; her parents and her twin sister: Peggy Hancock Adkins. She graduated from Ruston high School in 1945 and then in 1948 graduated from Louisiana Tech. She worked in banking for over 50 years. Mrs. Edwards was the owner of Fran Book Nook before retiring. She is survived by her sister: Mary Lou Hancock Ledger of Calhoun LA; cousin: Barbara Leona Hancock of Ruston, LA; nieces: Cindy Murphy and husband George of Ruston, LA and Kay Coker and husband Ray of Calhoun, LA; nephews: Bubba Ledger and wife Sandra of Vicksburg, MS and Keith Ledger and wife Julia of Winter Haven, FL and other great nephews and nieces. Mrs. Edwards was my first supervisor, at Ruston State Bank, after completing 2 years at La. Tech. I remember her as being very patient and kind. I know she will be greatly missed.

I was saddened to hear of Ms. Frances passing. My mother and Ms. Frances grew up together in Delhi. When I attended LTU from 1975-1979, I worked in the bookkeeping department with Ms. Frances. When I left Tech, I married and moved into Ms. Frances childhood home in Delhi. She was a sweet lady and my mother and I both enjoyed knowing her. I am Janice Brantly Britton and my mother is Lillian "Tinker" Keasler Brantly.
