Services for Harold Howard Henry will be held at 10 AM, Friday, May 6, 2016, at theFirst Baptist Church of Farmerville, Louisiana with Rev. Robbie Lawson officiating.Interment will follow at Wilhite Cemetery in the Wilhite Community. Visitation will befrom 5PM to 8PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville on Thursday, May 5.Harold was born on January 13, 1947 in Wilhite Community and passed away on May 1, 2016 in West Monroe, Louisiana.Harold was a lifelong resident of Union Parish and graduated from Downsville High School in 1965, then went on to Louisiana Tech where he lettered in Basketball. He then began a long and successful career with Claiborne Electric which lasted some forty two years. An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed the time to do both after retirement, especially deer hunting in Kansas and fishing Lake DArbonne and the Ouachita River with brother W. T. He was also passionate about his LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints, knowing most names and positions played. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard P. Henry and Bessie Henryand sister Annie Jean Patton. He is survived by his loving wife of forty eight years, AnnEldridge Henry sons, Harold Henry, Jr. of West Monroe and Chris Henry of Monroe, twogranddaughters, whom he truly adored, Hannah and Lauren Henry of West Monroe; brother, W. T. Henry and wife Linda, sisters Francis Carter and Doris Mott and husband Arthur; many cousins, nieces, nephews and a family of co-workers at Claiborne Electric.Pallbearers will be Troy Pardue, Shane Davidson, Glen Smart, Jim Aulds, CharlieSimpson, and Josh McCloed. Uncle Harold was a hero in my life. A great man and a kind soul who could always be depended on. My heart is broken for my family, Aunt Ann, Harold Jr, Chris, Hannah and Lauren, Mom, Aunt Doris and Uncle Art, Uncle WT and Aunt Linda, Momma, and all my cousins. I can't imagine life without your jokes and sense of humor Uncle Harold. You will be missed and you were LOVED!

I'm at a loss for words. I spent 20 years working with Harold before he retired, and loved him like a father. He was one of the most kind hearted men I had the ever known. Everyone of us here at CEC are sick with grief over the loss of such a great man. We love you Ms. Ann, and will continue to pray for you and your precious family.

I have not seen Harold in close to fifty years but I still remember him as a kind, caring person even at an age that many would not think about conduct. He was then and I'm sure continued to be good person. My sympathy to the Henry family.Donny Spears
