Ms. Campbell was born on September 11, 1931 in Point, LA to C. C. and Julia Dumas Bayles, Sr. and passed away on August 21, 2011 in Monroe, LA. A retired clerk for Community Trust Bank, she was a member of New Life Community Church. She had a passion for cooking. There did not have to be a reason or special occasion; just the joy of knowing it would bring a smile. She was preceded in death by her brother, Taylor Bayles. Survivors include daughters: Melissa Campbell of Raleigh, NC, and Louann Pickett and husband, Scott of Monroe, LA; sons: Scott Campbell of Monroe, LA and Mike Campbell of Texas City, TX; grandsons: Michael Reaves of Raleigh, NC and Clay Pickett and wife, Krystal of Lewisville, TX; granddaughters: Amy Pickett Weems and husband, Brian, and Michael Paul Campbell of Tioga, LA; brother: C.C. Bayles, Jr. and wife, Sue of Point, LA; sister Anne Pylant and husband, Doyle of Lafayette, LA; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are: Clay Pickett, Michael Reaves, Brian Weems, and Michael Paul Campbell. Visitation is from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe, LA.
