Chaney family,I'm so sorry for your loss. Sam and I were good friends back in high school; we were all part of the crew that hung out at Jason's house. Sam would always make us laugh, and his laugh was unmistakable. He was a great friend and person. He will be missed. God bless.

I first met Sam in High school but really got to know him on our annual fishing trips to Wyoming with our families. We spent many a night over the past 20 years sitting around a campfire drinking beer into the wee hours of the night, sharing stories about fishing, music, sports and life in general. Sam had a quick wit and never failed to make me smile. But you could just as easily talk to him about the hard stuff too. He was a great listener and always had sage advice. I had a tremendous amount of respect for Sam and considered him a true friend. He had so many admirable qualities not the least of which was his love and respect for his dad. I am in shock over Sam's passing. I had so looked forward to 30 more years of Wyoming trips with him. He will be missed by all of us who were blessed to have known him. I can't believe he's gone.My prayers are with the entire Chaney family.

While I did not know Sam personally, I know his father, mother and aunt, as I was his grandparents' next-door neighbor growing up In Monroe. My sincerest sympathies to Floyd, Glenda, Cinnamon and Marjo in the passing of Sam. I regret not being able to attend his funeral services or visitation. May God provide you all with comfort in knowing you will see him again in heaven...Paul Taylor
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

I was shocked to learn of Sam's death. I remember him fondly as one of the group of freshmen in my very first semester as the director of the Jones Learning Center. He was one of those students who had a great work ethic and got along with everyone. It was a joy to watch him grow into a confident, successful young man while he was here. My heart breaks for his parents, his sister, and his many friends. It means so much to me that you chose the Learning Center as the recipient of memorials for Sam. Please know that prayers are with you from all of the Jones Learning Center/Ozarks family.

A Great son, hunting and fishing partner and respected member of Chaney family. He will be missed as for his personality and help he gave his old man during our fly fishing trips to Wyoming over the past years, and our duck and deer hunting. Without Sam I could have not made a lot of the trips physically. My Love and Honor to Sam. I was very proud of him. Too Young to go.

Sam was my very Best Friend growing up. I moved to Seal Beach, CA when I was 10 years old. Luckily for me I had the pleasure of living directly across the street from Sam and we quickly became instant friends. All of my memories during the years that we lived across the street from each other include Sam. Like a true friend when he moved several years later before high school he introduced me to his good friend Paul, who later became another Best Friend to me. Although I had not seen Sam in years I truly owe him a lot and my sadness to hear of his passing is overwhelming.

Please accept my sincere condolences . The loss of a loved one is extremely difficult to cope with. The God of comfort has promised a Resurrection through Jesus Christ. John 3:16, Revelation 21:4. May you find comfort in that promise..
