A memorial service for Scott Caldwell 43, of Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Forsythe Park Stage. Scott was born in Louisiana but grew up in Fordsville, Kentucky. He returned to Louisiana after college. The memorial service will be under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Scott was an inspirational speaker and devoted his life to improving others. He started his career in the fitness industry in 2002. He had a unique gift of lifting others up and making them believe they could do more than they thought possible. He pushed them to do “one more” whether they liked it or not. His energy was contagious and the workouts were never dull. He was always thinking of new exercises to challenge every body type and skill set. Scott was so much too so many. He gave unconditionally and his passion for life was phenomenal. All he wanted was to help others and give people a reason to believe, and Scott did just that. He never gave up and was determined to fight with everything he had. He was so loved by the entire community and will be greatly missed. He lived his life like his favorite motto – #liveonpurpose.Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Mary Elizabeth Caldwell; brothers, Jimmy and Larry Caldwell.He is survived by his son Weston Scott Caldwell; brother, Timothy Caldwell; numerous nieces and nephews, and his forever loving Max Results Bootcamp family.Online condolences may be made to the family, Bootcamp family, and friends atwww.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.

On behalf of The MAC Running Group, a big shout of thanks to Scott for all he did for so many of God's people. Over the years of our running through Forsythe Park, we would intersect with Scott's Boot Camp workouts, and you could hear his thundering barks of encouragement to his participants, truly motivating them to do more than they would do on their own. Some of these would go forward to become local runners, some would run with us and go own to encourage others to become runners or other ways of becoming more physically active. Thanks for all the lives you touched, and especially for the model you gave us as to how to deal with a health crises. We will feel your spirit with us as we continue to run through the park and see your "boot camps" truly "live on". Thanks for showing us how to Live on Purpose.

Thanks for living life and showing us the way - you won the battle. RIP my friend.
