Rest in peace Aunt Vernie Mae. I can remember when I was little and me and grandpa and grandma would come for visits. You were always so sweet to me. I think I probably asked you a million questions back then. I'm so glad you always found the time to answer me. I love you! Kiss and hug my grandpa, grandma and every one else in our family for me. Until we meet again in my heart you will all stay. Xoxo

I remember sitting with grandma outside and her strumming her guitar whilst singing Hank Williams Sr. I remember so much from having her in my life and I'm so thankful that I got to have her in my life for so long. I'm going to miss hearing her, smelling her rose powder and her giving me tickling kisses.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith were neighbors and dear friends to our family - Eursel & Lavern Carter family, and we all shared many wonderful laughs and memories throughout the years. Mr. Smith and our Dad worked together for the State Highway Dept, also. We will always remember what wonderful people the Smiths were. Our deepest condolences to the Smith family and our prayers are with you all. God bless & keep you all. Lovey Carter Hammett & Tyrone Hammett & Family
