Mrs. Barbara Bonnie Rhodes, born Gacek, passed away peacefully in Shreveport, LA on January 16, 2020 at the age of 72 years. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 2:30 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Chad Jackson. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. till time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rhodes Cemetery in Spearsville, LA under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville, LA. Reception will follow at Spearsville Baptist Church.Bonnie is survived by her sons, John B. Rhodes of Spearsville, LA and Keith Ferrell of Dyersburg, TN; her step-sons, Roger Rhodes of Tigrett, TN and Andrew Rhodes of Dyersburg, TN; her step-daughters, Marie Campell of Dyersburg, TN and Mary Rhodes of Dyersburg, TN; her grand-daughters, Alexis Rhodes of El Dorado, AR, Annalise Ferrell of Fayetteville, AR, and Amber Ferrell of Fayetteville, AR; her grand-son, Wyatt Rhodes of El Dorado, AR; her future daughter-in-law, Rosemary Keenum of Spearsville, LA; her dog, Blockbuster Buster of Spearsville, LA; also many beloved friends and adopted family. Shewas a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker and was accomplished at needlework and crocheting and oftencrafted beautiful artwork for others. She loved going on cruises around the world and meeting new people. She had an amazing sense of humor and her personality would fill a room; you couldnt help but love her.
