Funeral services for Barbara Jean Higgins will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 15, 2019 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, with Brother Gerald Brinkley officiating. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens. Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until service time (2:00 P.M.).Barbara is preceded in death by her father, Author Pauley and her mother, Grace. She is survived by her husband, Phillip Higgins; daughter, Anissa Higgins Dabat; and grandchildren, Yasmeen Dabat and Faisal Dabat.Barbara was a member of The Father Church. She loved God, her husband, and her grandchildren. Barbara was a lovely wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed flowers and trips to Vicksburg to look at the river.
