Betty was born July 7, 1940 in West Monroe, LA and passed away August 13, 2022 in West Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents, E P and Jo Mathis, husband Bobby Joe Peterson, sister Melba Sue West.
Betty is survived by daughter Kathy “Pete” Richmond; brother Lowell Mathis; granddaughters, Presley Sage Richmond and Kyrie Elyse Richmond.
The family wishes to thank Blair, Dayna, and Melissa with Elana Hospice, and Mrs. Dunn with West Monroe Guest House for care of Ms. Betty.
