Interment will follow at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens.Billy was born December 3, 1931 in Minden, LA and passed away after a lengthy illness on May 27, 2017 in West Monroe, LA. He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church and was a supervisor of Plant 70. Billy loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Darlene McClain; brother, Dudley Crowell; sisters, Garnett Bailey and Charlotte Crowell; grandson, Patrick Ellis.Billy is survived by his wife Bobbye C. Crowell; sons, Dennis Crowell and Dusty Crowell; daughters, Pat Corbin and Teresa Redmond; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Russell Miles, Joey Redmond, Hunter Redmond, Ray Works, Chris Evans, and B. J. Evans.Our family would like a special thank you for the staff at True Care Home Health, Louisiana Hospice for their TLC during his last months and the firemen at King St Station for their help when needed. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
