Private graveside services for Billy Medlin of West Monroe will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Bro. Kelly Jones will officiate and words will be by Stacey Lenard. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Billy was born December 17, 1959 in Monroe, LA and passed away November 17, 2019 in Calhoun, LA. He loved his family and his daughter was the biggest joy and love of his life. He was so proud of her softball accomplishments and her character. Billy made sure she was taken care of physically and spiritually. He was together with his constant companion, his wife Teresa Medlin, for 39 years. He loved to travel especially in the North and West. Colorado was his favorite state to visit and would pack up and go at a moment notice. He adored his new granddaughters, Aubrey and Emery and was waiting for the day they asked Papaw to go to Eskamoes. He loved his mama, Liz, he always tried to make sure she was safe and taken care of.Billy is survived by his wife of 39 years, Teresa Wilder Medlin; daughter, Stephanie Allison Brasher (Austin) and their children, Aubrey and Emery Brasher; brother-in-law, Dennis Wilder (Laurie), Mark Wilder; step-sister-in-laws, Lou Anne Sydes, Dana Lewis (Gary), step-brother-in-laws, Sammy Staples (Maggie), Jimmy Staples (Lura); mother and father-in-law, Charles and Bobbie Staples; mother and father, Elizabeth (Liz)and Bobby Medlin; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy Mahoney (Terry); niece and their children, Laurin and Alex Anatonowitsch, Sophia, Colette and Jacob; nephew Robert Mahoney and Eli.Pallbearers will be Terry Mahoney, Blake Mashaw, Jay Jones, Austin Brasher, Robert Mahoney, and Josh Zeagler.
