Funeral services for Billy Wayne Carlisle Sr., 79, of West Monroe, LA will be held Friday, September 27, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Interment will follow at Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Rayville, LA. Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00 am until time of services.Billy was born December 10, 1939 in Crossplains, TN and passed away in West Monroe September 22, 2019. Preceding him in death are his parents Edward and Ola Carlisle; sister, Brenda Carlisle; brother, Eddie Carlisle; son, Billy Wayne Carlisle Jr. and infant son.Billy is survived by his wife, Amy Carlisle; 4 daughters, Pam Dixon, Allie Kilgore, Star Jones and Sibi Riffer; 2 stepdaughters, Vicky Thomas, Anna Zielinksi; 1 stepson, Henry Zielinski; 2 brothers, Terry and Jerry Carlisle; 15 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.Billy served in the U.S. Air Force stationed at Stead Air Force Base in Reno, Nevada, as an Airman 3C mechanic. After Billy military duties, he worked as a truck driver for several celebrity singers and retired as a construction superintendent.
