Funeral services for Bobby Whitehead of Point, Louisiana will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Point, Louisiana under the care of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes, Farmerville.  Bro. Donald Cardin and Bro. Robbie Lawson will officiate.  Interment will be at Acree Cemetery in Point, Louisiana. Visitation will be at Providence Baptist Church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Bobby Whitehead was born on October 10, 1947 and passed away on August 21, 2022.  He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and worked as an independent truck driver. He was a talented musician; enjoyed restoring old vehicles and loved spending time with his grandchildren.  Bobby taught all four of them how to drive a standard vehicle.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Evon Whitehead; sister, Nancy Biggs (Earl Wayne); brothers, Roy Whitehead (Marie), Ronnie Whitehead (Mary), Jimmy Whitehead and Larry Whitehead.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Sherry Clark Whitehead; children, Tina Murray (Paul) and Todd Whitehead (Tammy); grandchildren, Payton, MattieLin, Dustin and Breanna; sisters in law, Celie Whitehead, Ethel Whitehead, Debra Cardin (Tommy), Brenda Cardin (Donald), Robbie Carter (Greg); brother in law, Paul Coleman (Susie); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Stacy Cardin, Shannon Cardin, Bubba Whitehead, Travis Whitehead, Payton Murray and Dustin Whitehead.
