Brooke Ann Martin was a loving great-granddaughter, granddaughter, great niece, cousin, daughter, Big sister, friend and fiance’. She graduated from Archbishop Hannan High School in 2013 and welding school. Brooke was a beautiful and brilliant person who loved laughing, dancing, listening to music, and the outdoors. And although Brooke’s ways were gentle and soft, she was a strong, independent woman. It was a privilege and honor to have her in our lives as well as to be in hers’. Brooke was and forever shall be a bright light to all who hold her dear.
Brooke was born October 9, 1995 in Metairie, LA and passed away October 3, 2022 in Clinton, LA. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ronald Rex Richardson and Theresa Richardson.
Brooke is survived by her mother, Heather Richardson and step father Clifton Richardson; father, Warren Martin and step mother Shannon; fiancé Dayton Behrnes; three sisters, Briyanna Marie Mendieta, Reese Nancy Martin and Josie Kate Martin; brother, Austen Rex Richardson; grandparents, Rob and Jeanne Umbdenstock and Warren and Sharon Martin; great-grandmothers, Irene Richardson and June Perret; uncles, Ty Umbdenstock and wife Candance, Brett Umbdenstock and wife Paige, Michael Martin and Joshua Jay Richardson; aunt, Ronda Richardson; numerous cousins and friends.
Graveside services for Brooke “Brookie” Martin, 26, of Clinton, LA will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday October 10, 2022 at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens, with Rev. Jon Tellifero officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
