Funeral service for Curtis Frank Campbell, age 85, of Monroe, will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 30, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe with Executive Pastor Curtis C. Campbell of Heart of Worship Church in Pineville, LA officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun.Mr. Campbell, a retired Carpenter, was born January 10, 1928 in Bay Springs, Mississippi and passed away in Monroe, LA on December 27, 2013. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends for his outgoing personality, his kindness to everyone he met and for his sense of humor. He was a charter member of the Caney Hunting Club in Winn Parish.Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Lottie Campbell, sisters Doris Soister and Bobbie Claunch, and a twin brother who died at birth.Survivors include wife, Virginia Calhoun Campbell, of Monroe; two sons, Curtis C. Campbell and wife Bonnie of Pineville, LA, and Philip W. Campbell of Monroe; a daughter, Robin Morgan and husband Bill of Vidalia; and numerous grandchildren and friends.Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.The family extends a special thanks to Patti Colvin Newsom for her love and support.Pallbearers are Brandon Campbell, Devin Campbell, Payton Campbell, Troy Harrison, David Hudson, and Jonathan Pilgram.
