Funeral services for Daisy Marie (Lee) Douthit, 87, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 7, 2014 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Shane Warren and Rev. Butch Pilcher will be officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Daisy was born May 20, 1927 in Smithville, AR and passed away August 5, 2014 in West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, L. E. Douthit, Sr.; great-grandchild, Raylan Douthit; parents, William and Mary Lee and brothers, Louis, Kenneth, William and Coy Lee. Daisy was active in Home Demonstration Club and Thrifty Homemakers Club. She was a very active member of First Assembly of God Church. Daisy was a wonderful mother, homemaker and artist.Daisy is survived by children, L.E. Ranzie Douthit, Jr., and wife Ruth, Elizabeth Libby D. Robertson and husband Rex, Barbara D. Clark and husband John, and Jeffrey Douthit and wife Melanie; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 12:30 PM until service time at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Memorials may be made in Daisy‚ honor to First Assembly of West Monroe.
