Daniel Dean Moses, 71 of West Monroe, Louisiana passed away Saturday, August 17th 2019. He left this world with as much love and respect from family and friends as anyone could wish for.A celebration of life service will be held on Friday August 23rd at 2:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Rev. Gary Bankson will officiate.Dan was born to Joyce Ramsey and Charles Moses on August 10, 1948. He joined the U.S Marine Corp at the age of 17 and was stationed at Camp Pendleton, California where he served as a Sargent.Dan was a man of few words but when he did speak, you listened, especially when he told a story or passed along advice. He loved to take his mom fishing, his wife to flea markets and his children bowling and dirt bike riding. He had an inner strength that was deeply admired by all that knew him. He enjoyed a varied career as a Business Owner, Car Salesman, General Contractor, Truck Driver, Real-Estate Investor; Master of doing whatever he set out to do and succeeded.Dan is survived by his four children, daughter Danette Moses, son Matthew Moses and his wife Jamie, son Clayton Moses and his wife Michelle and daughter Heather Moses; eleven grandchildren, Jacob Moses and his wife Samantha and great grandchild Alden, Jared Moses, Dominique Moses, Clayton Moses II, Emma Moses. Two sons by marriage Jamie Adams and wife Lindsay, children Alexis, Austin and Alissa, Scotty Adams and wife Johnette, children Lauren and Ethan and step-grandsons Conner Currington and Alex Nilson. Dan was proceeded in death by his beloved wife, Jessie Aliene Adams Moses, his mother Joyce Ramsey, father Charles Moses, step-father J. V Allen, uncles Jake Ramsey and Tom Ramsey, brothers Charles (Chuck) Moses and Johnny Allen and step-daughter Vicky Adams.
