Darlene G. Ledford was born on December 23, 1943 in Houston, TX to Ernest and Dorothy Cowart and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 11, 2018 in Choudrant, LA.Darlene was a member of DaySpring Baptist church and loved the Lord. She loved movies and Elvis. She was a wonderful mother and she dearly loved her grandkids. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William W. Ledford; her brother, Dennis Cowart; and 3 grandchildren: Chance Snow, Tyler Ledford, and Chelsea Ledford.Left to cherish her memory are her children: Timmy and Judith Ledford; Tracie and Randy Snow; Shelly and Odus Hendrix, Tony Ledford, and Sherie Barba; 8 grandkids: T.J. Sunshine, Harlee, Chase, Ashley, Rachael, Colby, Josh, and Bridgett; and sisters: Cynthia Mahon and Edith Graham.Graveside services at Longstraw Cemetery in Choudrant, LA will be 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 15 2017 under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, February 14, 2017 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston, LA.Online condolences may be offered at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
