Funeral services for Donald Black will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 24, 2019 at Cedar Crest Baptist Church. Dr. Greg Clark and Rev. Danny McIlveene will be officiating. West Monroe lost a true gentleman , a great church member, a Masonic brother, one of the old time shift workers at the original Paper Mill around 40 years, a Father two of my first cousins, a role model, fun loving smart guy who built some nice Homes in West Monroe, never an unkind word, My Aunt Mel and his daughter Kim were so blessed as was he to have them! They don"t make um like Donald Black!! Any more! Played lots of golf and filled out more crosswords then anyone I know!! Our family's are crushed but we know he is in Heaven!!

Marilyn heart and prayers go out to you and Kim as well as the rest of the family. I know it will be hard to face each day without Donald, but GOD will get you through it all. I know how strong your faith is and I know that GOD takes care of HIS own. We know where Donald is, there with Mr. & Mrs. Black, Ronald and Eugene and Delores, sitting at JESUS feet singing praises unto HIM. One day we shall join them there.
