Donna Lynn Wilson Kelley of Farmerville, LA, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018, after a lengthy and courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church in Farmerville from 5:00-7:00 P.M., Friday, January 12, 2018. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 13, 2018, with Rev. Alan Miller and Rev. Kurt Auger officiating. Interment will follow at Farmerville City Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Farmerville. Born January 17, 1949, in San Diego, CA, Donna was raised in Shreveport, LA, and was a graduate of Fair Park High School in Shreveport and Louisiana Tech University in Ruston. She taught English at Airline High School in Bossier City, LA, and Marion High School in Marion, LA, before raising her children and later working full-time in the family clothing store, Kelley Men Wear in Farmerville. She enjoyed cooking, reading, scrapbooking, traveling to visit family, and being a loving Nonna to her grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her parents John Wilson, Sr. and Norma Wilson. She is survived by her son, Brandon Kelley; daughter, Allyson Pace; brother, John Wilson, Jr.; sister, Carol DiMaio and husband Willie; granddaughter, Tinsley Pace; grandson, Landon Pace; niece, Stephanie Duran and husband Greg; and nephews, John Kelley and wife Lynn, Greg Wilson and wife Jen, Jason Wilson, Will DiMaio and wife Nikole, and Marc DiMaio. Pallbearers will be John Crow, Marc DiMaio, Will DiMaio III, John Kelley, Jr., Glenn Taylor, and Greg Wilson. The family wishes to thank everyone at Oncology Associates, Stat Home Health, and First Choice Hospice for their assistance and loving care, and the many sitters who helped in the final few months.
