The family of Eddie Bayles, 79, would like you to join them in the celebration of his life. Funeral services for Eddie Glenn Bayles are Wednesday, August 14th, 2013, at 10:00AM in the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. Larry Hibbard officiating. Interment follows in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. He was born in 1934 in West Monroe, LA, to James Albert and Daisy Watson Bayles and passed away after a long illness at home with his family in Woodlands, TX, on Friday, August 9th, 2013. A loving and caring family man, Eddie was successful in several business ventures during his life and was an accomplished sculptor. He was also a Korean War Era veteran of the US Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Lynn Bayles and brother Tunny Bayles. Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Jane Bayles; daughters Tarona McNeely and husband, Brad and Cindy Hart and husband, Chuck; sons Tracy Lane Bayles and Troy Edward Bayles, and Edward Stevens, whom he loved as his son; grandchildren Jennifer Lynn Myles and husband, Ty, Edward Ervin Stevens and wife, Cathy, Taylor Anne Bayles and Zoie Jane Pearson; 4 great- grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; brother, James Bobby Bayles and close friend, Cindy and brother, Freddy Roy Bayles and wife, Vivian. Active pallbearers include Edward Stevens, Edward Stevens II, Brad McNeely, Zachary Vaught, Lonnie Edwards, and Chuck Rowe. Honorary pallbearers include Abby Lloyd Bacon, Ed Wilson, Donald Johnson, and Dolan Watson. Visitation is Tuesday, August 13th, 2013, from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.
