Mrs. Meade was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Ann; her parents, Sam and Emma Vest; and her brother, Junior.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, James H. Meade; daughters, Linda Harper and spouse Robert, Terry Dillard and spouse Kenny, Brenda Sweatt and spouse Mike, Theresa Newman and spouse Ross, Dana Champlin and spouse Brian; sons, Dennis Meade and spouse Judy, James Meade and spouse Julia, Tony Meade and spouse Linda, Jerry Meade, Kenney Meade, Mike Meade, and Donald Meade; brother, Don Vest and spouse Barbara; 27 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: James Meade, Tony Meade, Ross Newman, Mike Sweatt, Isaac Newman, and John Joseph.
