Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will follow in Rayville Masonic Cemetery in Rayville, La.

Floy Rogers Dunham was born on January 2, 1932 in Rayville, Louisiana. Floy was mother to three children, one daughter and two sons. She is preceded in death by her beloved youngest son John Keith Dunham and her parents Lela Spruell Rogers and Hillman C. Rogers of Baskin, La.

Floy began college as a non-traditional student earning both Bachelors and Masters degrees in education. She taught kindergarten at Baskin Elementary her entire 30 year teaching career. She impacted countless lives in her classroom and is lovingly remembered by many of her students.

Floy enjoyed flower arranging and being a member of the Garden Club. She and her sister Joyce loved to quilt and created many beautiful quilts. She was a collector of fabric and could not resist “a good feeling piece of material.” She spent many hours perusing pattern books and was an accomplished seamstress who made most of her daughter’s clothes when she was growing up. She was an active church member at First Baptist Church of Delhi, La. and, in her later years, First Baptist Church of Farmerville, La. She also enjoyed reading her Bible, devotional books, and other religious literature. She enjoyed following her adult grandchildren’s activities on Facebook. Watching Sarah Katherine sing and perform was a major source of entertainment for her. She was thrilled to meet and spend time with her first great-grandchildren in October as well as FaceTime their first year milestones. She loved to see video clips of Charlotte Grace and Ava Monroe. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Floy is survived by her oldest son Mike Dunham and wife Debbie of Powder Springs, Ga. and her only daughter, Deanna Dunham McCallum and husband Jay of Farmerville, La.

Grandchildren Dana Elizabeth Dunham of Atlanta, Ga.; Ashley Dunham Coalmer (Kurt) of Thompson’s Station, TN. ; John McCallum (Brooke) of Los Angeles, Ca.; and Sarah Katherine McCallum of Farmerville, La.
Great-Grandchildren Charlotte Grace Coalmer of Thompson’s Station, Tn.; and Ava Monroe Coalmer of Thompson’s Station, Tn.
Floy is also survived by her dear sister and best friend, Joyce Tolar (Bill) and much loved nephews, nieces, cousins and friends and her dear neigbor, Jeanette Ross.

Pallbearers will be Paul Tolar, David Tolar, Will Tolar, Robert Dunham, Lesley Dunham and Donnie Gates.

The family wishes to thank Marily Wayne for her special care of Miss Floy.

If you choose, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to FBC Farmerville – Annie Armstrong Easter Offering or Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Ga.
