Funeral services for George D. Rogers, 78, of West Monroe will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 12:30 PM in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Wise officiating. Interment will follow at Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Rayville, LA. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
George was born November 7, 1942 in Hodge, LA and passed away April 28, 2021 in West Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents M.D. L. and Evola Rogers; sister Elizabeth Rogers and grandson Aaron Pesnell. George loved his family, riding his motorcycle, working and serving his country.
George is survived by his brother Markey Rogers; daughter Crystal Pesnell, Misty Sullivan and husband Jeff, Abigail Rogers and Eren Rogers; grandchildren Mercedes Lynch and husband Jimmy, Michael Coleman, Trent Pesnell, Daniel Rogers and Dylan Easter; great-grandchildren Addie Kenley and Chandler; numerous nieces and nephews.
