Funeral services for Mr. Gregory Lee Kennedy 66, of Downsville, LA, formerly of Marion, will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. Bubba Hoggatt assisted by Freddie Ray Franklin. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Interment will follow in Roark Allen Cemetery in Marion, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Left to cherish his memory, significant other of more than 20 years, Donna Rose Norman Gathright, Andy and Michelle (Mimi) White and son Ryan Massey, Larry Murphy Jr., and son Tripp Murphy. His children, Kristi Enis (Sohn), Josh Kennedy, and Adam Kennedy (Ashley); two grandchildren. His sisters, Janice Teekell (Ben), Sandy Black (Mike), Becky Franklin (Kenneth), very special cousin Bobby Kennedy, special friend Don Auger (Bro); numerous family and friends, also his pet Charley.Born on February 28, 1952 in Marion, LA and passed away on December 18, 2018 in Monroe, LA. Greg served in the Army Reserves and retired from International Union of Operation Engineers. He was a Pipeline Equipment Operator, former Owner /Operator of Kennedy Logging Company and was an avid golfer, bear hunter, and loved his Blues music. He was preceded in death by his parents Thad and Dorothy Kennedy and pet Bootsy.
