I did not know Harry had passed away. He was such a delightful person, never a dull moment. I would share this with Keith; but he is in Ruston Nursing and Rehabilitation in Choudrant, He has been there over a year. He has Alzheimer's disease. I will miss the fun family reunions, and my condolences to the family.

Alice and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you for peace and comfort. I was privileged to know and work with Harry. We all laughed together on the toughest of jobs and it was his honesty, integrity, and personality that everybody will remember. He was one of my favorite wildlife biologist/conservationist I had ever worked with. He was a true American, a friend, and one of God's children. There is no telling what conservation work Harry will do in heaven, but I'm sure God has a special job for him. Take Care and God Bless!

It was an honor and privilege to know and work with Harry for over 30 years. His legacy extends beyond his family and friends to include the good things he did for the environment and the public through the people he influenced to promote and apply conservation to protect our natural resources at the local, state and national level. Thank you Harry for your public service and thank you to his family for sharing Harry with us.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Harry Cook, Jr. A short time ago I heard the sad news of the passing of one of my best friends, Harry Cook, Jr. Most of his friends called him Cookie or Little Harry, (his father was known as Big Harry). I have been friends with Harry Cook since, perhaps/maybe 1945. The Cooks were like my second family. Harry’s father, mother, Aunt Tressie, the Holsteads, his cousin Carol, the Lowreys, and his cousin Bo, the Platts and I am sure there are so many more I just can not now remember. They were so kind to me and my family. Then I married my Josie McCallum and Harry’s mother, Miss Alvern gave Josie such a beautiful wedding shower. Later Harry married Alice. Then Josie and I loved Alice and later their two sons John and Andrew. Harry was such an interesting person and made quite an impression on everyone he met. I have relatives and friends that met Harry 40 years or more ago. From time to time most of them would always ask about Harry. I know this, Harry loved his family so very much. Harry you will be sorely missed. I was blessed to have such a good friend as Harry Cook, Jr. May God Bless the Cook family.
