Mr Key was my barber for most of my life. I’ve followed him from his shop off of Louisville, to his place behind Cormier’s to the shop in the mall down from the Piccadilly and finally to his place in West Monroe behind the McDonald’s. He was a great man and very kind. Easy to talk to and always had interesting things to say. He was born in the same town as my mom and always asked about her. My dad went to him for many years too. He will be missed. Condolences to the family.

JW was my barber back when I was younger and had enough hair to cut....he also took me on my first deer hunt off Highway 15 and I was scared to death...he was always upbeat and positive and was never scared of helping folks....those kind are getting harder to find.....thanks to the Wallace family for sharing Uncle JW. With love and sympathy. Joe Farr

JW was one of Mother’s and Daddy’s favorite nephews, who spent a lot of time with them. After he moved to Monroe he would often come by in the Summer for some of our good watermelons. He also gave me one of my first jobs, driving one of his gravel trucks. I had no experience with this but he trusted me to do a good job (important to a 19 year old.) J. W. also encouraged me in my flying career which gave me the confidence to try it. May God’s blessing be with Katherine and family.
