Funeral Services for Jack Snow (Poppa, Dad, Uncle), of Choudrant, will be Saturday, March 04, 2023, 2:00 P.M., at Daysprings Baptist Church in Ruston, LA. Officiating will be Rev. J. E. Brown, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Ruston. Visitation will be Saturday, March 04, 2023, from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M., with interment to follow at Longstraw Cemetery, Choudrant, LA.
Jack passed away on February 27, 2023, following a lengthy illness at the age of 78. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Melba Jean Snow, his siblings, and his grandson, Chance Snow.
He loved his Lord and Savior, serving as a Deacon and member of Dayspring Baptist Church, member of The Masonic Lodge and Lion’s Club. Jack served in the U.S. Navy until he received an honorable discharge. He worked at Safeway for 25 years, and drove a school bus, for Lincoln Parish School Board, for 10 years. Jack married the love of his life, Melba Jean. They were blessed with three children, Donna (Michael) Snipe of Choudrant, LA, Randy (Tracie) Snow of Choudrant, LA, and Luci (Charles) Ducharme of Bossier City, LA; grandchildren, Chase (Courtney) Snow, Jacob (Heather) Snow, Mindy (Chris) Graham, Lucas, Ducharme, Jonah Ducharme, Eric Ducharme, Cheyanne Steed, Austin Steed, Dakota Steed; great grandchildren, Hunter, Hudson, Cash, Jaxon, Cyne, Kyle, and Xayden; and brother, Joe Snow; special sister-in-law, Flossie (Honey) Snow of Leesburg, FL.; numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog “Little Bit”.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Haney, Danny Smith, Charlie Simpson, Donovan Weeks, John McCorkle and Brian Spillers.
The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Allegiance Hospice, and his special nurse, Stephanie, for giving him the best care possible. He loved Stephanie very much.
