James Turner Oliver was born on July 10, 1948 in Dean, LA and passed away on February 8, 2019 in Winnsboro, LA at his daughters home from complications from heart surgery on December 7, 2018. Preceding in death by his parents, Lonnie and Leona Slader Turner, brothers David Turner, Nelson Verden, Willie Turner, and Jack Turner.

Survivors are his daughter’s, Anita Jones and husband Bob of Winnsboro LA; Rebecca Kilcrease of Haile, LA; brothers, Owen Turner and wife Rose of Marion, LA; and Billy Turner and wife Carolyn of Monroe, LA; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael Jones, Ryan Shapiro, and Johnny Morris.
