Entombment services for Jeanne A. Short will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Mulhearn Memorial Mausoleum. Father Paul will officiate under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.Jeanne was born December 3, 1921 in Balman, New Jersey and passed away December 6, 2017 in West Monroe, LAJeanne served in the United States Army and was given the task of setting up a hospital for General Patton Army during World War II.She graduated from New York University and after graduation she taught there. After moving to Monroe, she was a Professor at the school of nursing at Northeast Louisiana University (ULM) until retirement. She has written many articles on Health, Home, Health and Hygiene and Home Health as we know it today.
