Funeral services for Jerry D. Till, 79, of Bernice will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 18, 2019, at the First Baptist Church in Bernice. Brother Michael McIntosh, assisted by Brother Charles Malone, will officiate. Interment will follow at Bernice City Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.Jerry was born on January 5, 1940 in Bernice to James Clifford and Nedra Ferguson Till. After earning a BS degree in Wildlife Biology, Jerry worked for 32 years as a Lab Supervisor at Claiborne Gasoline in Lisbon, LA, and 9 years as a Lab Technician at Calumet Ind. in Cotton Valley, LA. Jerry was a member of First Baptist in Bernice and a member of Meadow Lake Golf & Country Club. He loved golf, deer hunting, and fishing.Jerry is preceded in death by his parents James and Nedra Till, brother Billy Till, nephew Randy Till, and sister-in-law Henrietta Till.Left to cherish Jerry memory are his wife Gretchen Gresham Till; son Steven Todd Till and wife Lisa of Ruston; grandson Justin Blake Till and wife Katie of Ruston; granddaughter Lauren Hanna Powell and husband Joshua of Bossier City; great-granddaughter Finley Kate Powell; brother Bobby Till of Dubach; brother-in-law Gary Gresham and wife Denise of Bernice; sister-in-law Carolyn Franklin and husband Allen of Lillie; and several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers are Chris Bowman, Jeff Dendy, Randy Funes, Dr. Jeff Till, David Hipp, and Mike Colvin. Honorary pallbearers are Sonny Cook, Bob Tubbs, Buddy Barnett, Sherwood Campbell, Bill Copeland, Harry Cook and W. C.
