When I was a young girl going to Bawcomville Church of Christ I had many problems as I lived in a very dysfunctional environment. I can remember Mr Hebert well, his wife and him would always have something every weekend at his home for all of the youth members. At his home we all felt like he was a true, genuine Christian and he really cared about us. I know he is definitely got angels wings........

We just learned today about Mr. Hebert's passing. He was a special friend to my sister Maxine. They spent many mornings together talking while they waited to go on dialysis. Mr. Hebert dubbed my sister Ms. Downsville. They always kept each other's spirits up. My sister passed before Mr. Hebert and we saw Mr. Hebert during that time. It was evident he loved others and his family. May the Lord be with your family during this difficult time.

My family, wife Carole and two daughters, Leah and Jenny, lived in Bawcomville in the 1970s. It was an honor to preach for the church of Christ where Johnny Hebert served as an elder. While we have been separated by many miles and years, we have always had the warmest regards for the Hebert family. Carole and I send our love and sympathy.
