Funeral services for Johnny Ray Cruse, 84, of Hico, LA, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Hico Baptist Church. Bro. Don Cardin will officiate. Interment will follow at Henry Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston, LA. Visitation will be Thursday, February 8 from 5-7 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.Johnny was born on April 12, 1933 in Dubach, LA, to John Thomas and Louella Davis Cruse and passed away on February 4, 2018. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Johnny worked at Kilpatrick for over 30 years as an insurance salesman. He was a member and former Deacon at Hico Baptist Church and loved to fish and garden. Johnny was preceded in death by his first wife, Glenda Murphy Cruse, and grandson, Zachary Nolan Foster.Johnny is survived by his wife, Lunelle D. Cruse; daughters: Allyson Cruse Foster of Dubach and Lori Cruse Beard of Gulf Breeze, FL; step-children: Connie Duke Ledford and Kevin Duke of Ruston; brothers: Tommy Cruse of Grand Prairie, TX and Donald Cruse of Decatur, GA.Pallbearers will be Joel Murphy, Mickey Murphy, Rickey Lynn Murphy, Chip Murphy, Eric Hannah, Ray Beard, John Brown, and Gene Deason. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Bittell, Roland Kay, Terry Knowles, and Wayne Parks.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hico Baptist Church, 653 LA-152, Dubach, LA 71235.Online condolences may be made at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
