Memorial services for Mrs. Joyce B. Smith will be held at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, July 19, 2014 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes 1200 Lamy Lane in Monroe. Officiating will be Dr. James Wolfe.Mrs. Smith, formerly of Brookhaven, MS, was born on November 19, 1935 and passed away on July 17, 2014 in West Monroe following a lengthy illness.Survivors are her husband Bracie N. Smith; children Roxiann Martin Dupuy and her husband, Raymond; Homer Glover Martin IV and his wife, Marina, Rhee Martin Welch and husband, Ronnie; step children, Keith W. Smith and his wife, Laurie, Dana Smith Yaun and her husband, Jeff; sisters, Janice Kelly and Henrietta Olivier; brothers, William B. To the Smith family, so sorry for your lose. It is comforting though that the scriptures hold out a wonderful hope for our loved ones. John 5:28, 29 mentions a resurrection of the dead. When saying this Jesus had in mind a resurrection into a New World order here on a cleansed earth.

The bible mentions a resurrection back to this earth, John 11:25 as well as John 5:28, 29 mentions a resurrection back to this earth under a New World order of things through Gods kingdom.
