Funeral services for Julie Margaret Johnson Adams, 91, of Haile, LA, will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Haile Baptist Church in Haile, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. Mark Bradberry, Rev. Donald Reeves and Rev. Mike Murray. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Liberty Linville Cemetery in Linville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Margaret Dete was born on June 16, 1927 and passed away from this life on November 25, 2018. She was a former employee of CenturyTel. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mae Johnson, husbands Elmo Shoemaker, Bill Bradshaw and George Adams; brother Odell Johnson; sisters Doris Dollar, Minnie Pilgreen, Mildred Ball and Darlene Jones; stepson Arthur Adams; son-in-law Sammie Pace; grand-daughters, Bethany Pace and Mary Gayle Dollar, and great-grandson Brandon Bell.Survivors include her three daughters Sandra Bradberry (Kirk), Kathy Owens (Jerry), and Theresa Pace; two sons Ricky Bradshaw and Rusty Bradshaw, one step-daughter Phyllis Terral, eleven grandchildren Lisa Dempsey (Grafton), Mark Bradberry (Necole), Krystal Crowell (Bryan), Julie Morris (Warren), Ashten Bradshaw, Victoria Bradshaw, Mallory Sellers (Caleb), Kaci Bagley (Max), Cody Pace, Blake Frisby, and Sarah Bowe (Casey); sixteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren, sisters Teenie Bowen, Dot Tarter (Paul) and numerous nieces and nephews.Special thanks to care giver Libby Smith and to the Ascend Hospice Care Staff, especially aide Porchia Snell and nurse Mandy Ford.As time seemed to stand still we held her hand as God welcomed her into His presence. We are rejoicing that she no longer suffers from dementia and there is victory in Jesus.Pallbearers will be Dylan Crowell, Patrick Crowell, Cody Pace, Travis Bradberry, Ashten Bradshaw and Bryan Crowell.Honorary Pallbearers will be Kirk Bradberry and Jerry Owens.Memorials may be made to the Liberty/Linville Cemetery Fund.
