Debbie Couch Mobley left a message on October 18, 2011:
It's been a month yesterday since dad went to be with Jesus. I'm asking Jesus to relay the message to dad for me: There are not enough words on the earth to describe how much I love you. You are the best dad God ever created. Your giving unselfishly with no favoritism has taught me to share. We've worked beside each other, my being the boy you never had, I've learned so much. Thank you for loving me enough to give me a shoulder to cry on. Your my best friend and dad. No one could ever take your place in my life. I'm so very proud to call you dad. I love you and miss you daddy, Love, Debbie

Richard Winfred Aulds left a message on September 27, 2011:
Mr. Couch I always knew him as "Uncle Luther', being his wife was my Dads first cousin was a fine gentlemen who always had a smile on his face. Such fond memories I have when living as a youngster in Choudrant, Louisiana when he and his family lived in Houston, and would often visit realtives in my home town. So many times, Uncle Luther, Aunt Bea, my grandmothers neice and the children would visit my grandmothers home for a visit of coffee and conversation. Of the many visits, I well rememeber one when we were all sitting in the west yard under the pecan trees; it was summer time, and we were making some home made peach ice cream. Being in the 60's we had a manual hand crank ice cream maker, where as one would have to turn the handle numerous times as to ready the ice cream. I remember 'Uncle Luther' telling myself and my foster brothers, " Now boys, you've got to turn that handle faster if you want some of that good ice crem ". Many summers have passed since, but I've fond memories of their visits. Aunt Bea, Beverly, Gloria, Debbie, my prayers are and have been for you during this time. I only wish I could make it back home to Choudrant. " Home Sweet Home, Choudrant Town...Gods blessings to you all ". ' W ' Aulds
