My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Kathie Farmer and the entire Richmond family. I will miss my visits with your mom whenever I come home to Louisiana. She always made time for a cup of coffee and a visit from my mom and me. I will always remember her gentleness and even her firmness as Kathie and I grew up being neighborhood friends and classmates for all these years. I will never forget her unique laugh--light and warm yet different from most. It exuded joy and comfort in a way that has stayed with me all the years that I have known her. She was fun. She was funny. She was always easy to talk to and I will miss her. I am thankful that GOD allowed our paths to cross and that I was blessed in knowing a wonderful mother and a friend. I pray that you Kathie, your family, and friends can find comfort in your memories of your mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, or an acquaintance.
