Sad to see a sweet 2nd Cousin has passed. My late Dad-Norman Ward really loved Maxine and thought so highly of her. I remember her visiting my Grandma-Nina Ward and everyone chatting together. She was just so kind and sweet like her mother our Aunt Lottie. I’m sure they are having a happy reunion with everyone on the other side. I’m so thankful that families can be together forever.

Aunt Maxine, I have such wonderful memories of you! Your wonderful smile, words of wisdom, visits with you and Uncle Worth, sharing of our birthday dates, loving lengthy letters with the most beautiful handwriting, your devotion to the Church and your family and, your delightful strawberry cake. Even though we lived in different states, far from each other, I always knew that you loved me and all of us here in Texas. We will all miss you and look forward to seeing you again someday. Love you always, Your niece, Becky Shivers Sellers.

Worth and Maxine, as well as Lanny and Robert Charles, we’re all a second family while growing up. They were both always there for mom and dad, who loved them dearly. I will away cherish the memories of our past. And even though we did see each other much after adulthood, know that our family will always love your family forever and ever. We will pray for your peace in laying this wonderful lady to rest and her new journey to join her love ones. ❤️

LaNanny and family: Louie and I dearly loved your Precious Mother. I loved sitting with her at Church. She was the kindest and gentlest soul I’ve ever Ben Blessed with. We are so deeply sorry for your loss. Praying for Peace and Comfort for all of you.
