Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Dottye Houck, age 80, hair stylist of Ruston, LA, will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 22, 2014 in the Chapel at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Ruston, LA. Interment will follow at Simsboro Cemetery in Simsboro, LA. Mrs. Houck was born on February 10, 1934 and went to be with the Lord in His Heavenly Home on December 18, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Bobbie R. Houck; parents, Dallas and Lucy Jones Feazell; one child, Arlynda Richardson; three sisters, Elaine Lincecum, Helen Albritton, and Mary Lacey.She is survived by one son, Steve Richardson and wife, Monica; two grandchildren, Stephen B. Richardson of Lafayette, LA, and Monika Richardson Stewart and husband, Josh of Ruston; sister, Joan Walker of Ruston; four step children, Tommy Houck of Simsboro, Larry Houck of Texas, Jackie Ogden and husband, Ken of Simsboro, and Lee Brazell and wife, Miranda of Arcadia; five step grandchildren; and numerous, nieces, and nephews.Pallbearers will be Stephen B. Richardson, Josh Stewart, Lance Hancock, James Hatcher, and Jeff Chrisman.Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Ruston.
