Funeral services for Josie Tubbs will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at First Baptist Church Bernice. Jay McCallum will officiate. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Bernice, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Ruston, LA.Josie was born on August 29, 1942 in Bernice, LA and passed away on November 13, 2016 in Bernice, LA. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and attended First Baptist Church of Bernice. Josie was Assistant Branch Manager at First Guaranty Bank of Dubach. She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester McCallum, Sr. and Lorene Gray McCallum.Josie is survived by her husband, Robert Bob Tubbs; daughters, Rosie Tubbs and Roxie Schneider and husband Butch; grandchildren, Sidney, Josh and Hunter Schneider; brother, Chester McCallum, Jr.; niece, Kathy Spears; nephews, Art and Jay McCallum and other numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Bernice.

So sorry to learn of Josie's passing. She was a very sweet lady. I remember the times we would gather as family for Thanksgiving and Christmas
