Funeral services for Nellie Ruth McCarty will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. Rev. Ricky Baker will officiate. Interment will follow at Cypress Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Nellie was born on October 1, 1931 in Calhoun, Louisiana and passed away on May 15, 2020 in West Monroe, Louisiana. She was a homemaker and a member of Cypress Baptist Church. Nellie is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Revena McCarty; father, Johnnie Ward; mother, Mamie Ethridge Ward; grandchild, Jonathon McCarty; great-grandchildren, Alexis Jones and Conner Millwood.
Nellie is survived by three children, Alice Millwood and husband William, David McCarty and wife Kathy, Steve McCarty and wife Connie; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; many other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Richard Millwood, Brian Millwood, James Bass, Justin McCarty, Jakob McCarty, and Hayden Walton.
