Pat Phillips, 67, was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on April 8, 1955 and passed away on October 22, 2022 in Downsville, Louisiana. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in West Monroe, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the service at 4:00 p.m.  Bro. Scott Fletcher and Bro. Billy Taylor will officiate.

Pappy retired from the Union Pacific Railroad after many years of service.  Upon retiring, Pappy moved to Caney Lake where he enjoyed spending his time fishing and hunting.  He sponsored a dirt track car and enjoyed watching and being a part of the races.  In his younger years, Pappy had a passion for bull riding, as well.

Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Margaret Phillips; brother, Kenny Phillips; and daughter Katie Phillips.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kelly Dodd; grandchildren, Kaden, Carter and Katherine; ex-wife, Holly Phillips; sister, Susie (Bobby) Bailey; brothers, Don (Lucy) Phillips and Curtis (Kathy) Phillips; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
